Hello, I'm new to this Tribe and so I thought I'd post my first topic.
I once read that cap/cap dating usually works out well b/c apparently capricorns are difficult to get along w/ so we tend to bond best with our kind.
I have dated a number of Capricorn men and each time it turned out badly. I even dated a cap with the same rising sign, that lasted 3 weeks. It always has come down to a power struggle, go figure! Yet, I always seem to initially attract and am attracted to Cap men.
So, has anyone had luck dating other caps? or not? Please share. :)

09/30Attraction, yes. Good times, fun sex, yes. healthy relationship, no.
At this point i think that the other Capricorn would have to be just as awake and mature as i am because i wouldn't put up with or contribute the bullshit i did 10 years ago. One of my Cap. BFs was extremely competitive with me and jealous of my successes. The other one wasn't, in that case it was me who was insanely jealous and insecure. Both of them were emotionally
"compromised" or not in touch with their emotions. This meant that they had no tolerance for mine and turned the other cheek all the time (like hanging up on me, walking out, etc.)
One problem i see is that we tend to hang onto things that don't work very well, whether it's a thing or a person, rather than throw away something that still has *some* function, we will put up with the dysfunction. In relationships this just breeds contempt. This is where consciousness comes in--having the awareness to recognize the point at which things become negative and either taking a big step back, or calling it quits.
I have been craving the company of another Capricorn after 7 years with a Scorpio who absolutely demolished me. The best things about pairing with another goat is mutual understanding. No one understands our ways like another Capricorn. This is apparent when we come together and exclaim in disbelief? "Oh my God! You do that TOO!?" We have spent most of our lives feeling like loners, so it is really comforting to know there is someone out there who understands.
Check out the moon signs and also Venus. In my experience, this really helps. My Cancer Moon did not appreciate my BFs Gemini Moon much. My other guy had a Pisces moon which was sweet but he was spineless and i didn't respect that very much. Both of these guys had Venus in Capricorn which is a sorry place for Venus to be, IMO. I became bored sexually and began to "wander".

10/03Thanks for the input. Actually, my last Cap had Venus in Capricorn and things went really slow in the physical contact department. I even like things to go a little slow and don't mind initiating to a certain extent, but it was a little too slow, such that I ended up being bored.
You made a great point about the competitiveness. All of them had a big problem with my profession. Even though I didn't make a big deal out of it and appreciated them for what they had accomplished.
Hmmm...well, we'll see, if another Cap comes my way, I might have to run the other direction. :)

03/12"scorpio demolished me"....tell me about it I had 2 in a row and it was the biggest roller coaster ride I have ever been on.
Now there are some caps in my life, a gemini and a libra...any advice out there?

10/08a scorp demolished you ? i thought nothing could demolish us (maybe those annoying sagis for a second) i know we always win over anything, except perhaps our own kinda selfish kind. hard dealing with caps they always aim high. and if u dont fit the bill they will move on. me thinks we need to stop comparing our lovers to what they ought to be and appreciating what they are. sappy? maybe but nothing wrong with that
