I think when it comes to Leos, our strong, hold-your-ground nature can threaten them. We are known to be the only ones who can stand up and alpha the kings and queens of Leo. I think this may scare them at times, because it shakes their security.

Also, at times I think they have difficulty understanding the way that we can be dark like the black color that represents us. I think that can frighten them too. Often they are too proud themselves to admit it.

Think about our ruling planets and elements....

You are Saturn and earth. Earth can be at times cold, rigid, yet giving and nurturing. The color black is the color of protection. Saturn is known to give a place for sorrow and grief. It holds the energies of the unfortunate for the universe and creates a place where not only are they okay, but they are beautiful.

She is the Sun and fire. Fire is warmth and transformation, but it can destroy if held in the wrong way. The desire of the sun is to beam and watch joyously as the radiant light causes everything to grow and change and feel loved. They love the way their spirit can gravitate other spirit towards it, while the entities give each other meaning.

The key here is that there is a lot you can learn from each others natures. If you are able to transcend your differences and the fears that transpire from them, you can both become more whole beings. You can both become more empowered by seeking out something that was before unfamiliar, maybe even repelling.

Four things I think would help:

She has to be at a point where is ready to meet someone as an her equal and maybe be a little more vulnerable than she has in the past.

You have to be able to give her a safe, nurturing, patient place to allow this shift to occur. I think if you are able to show these virtues to her, you will like how it makes you feel about yourself.

You need to allow her to feel like she has the choice, and the best way to do that is to give it to her by truly sacrificing and relinquishing your grasping desire for her and control over the situation. Aside from it being good for both of you, it will be good for you especially.

Find a way to make her feel really special, appreciated, and loved. Find a way to do it so that it feels true and uncompromising to you. The more true and honorable you can intend your love to be, the more she will recognize and respond to it.
